Low Back Settee Chair

The Low Back Settee or “double chair” was popular in the 1750’s before the classic period of 1770 to 1830 when chairs such as the sack back and continuous arm were in vogue. In addition to its unique appearance this chair sits a bit higher and a bit straighter than other Windsor Chairs.
