Nantucket-Fan Back Chair

This chair is a reproduction of a chair made by a Nantucket chairmaker around 1780. This style of Windsor Fan-back is the largest and most comfortable of all Windsor chairs. This chair commands attention in any room as it is even more comfortable then it looks. Features include decoratively turned stiles, carved ears at each end of the crest rail, and volutes carved on each side of the hands. This is an extraordinary piece of furniture.
